The Multicultural Center in Prague promotes a tolerant society and advocates for intercultural dialogue and learning among diverse cultures. The Center fulfills its goals through public debates, a variety of educational, cultural and public informational activities, research, publications and the establishment of links between individuals and organizations with similar aims within the Czech Republic and abroad.

Through its protection, programme, and public information activities, UNHCR's main objective is to support the government's efforts to establish a comprehensive, sustainable and self-reliant asylum system enabling the country to deal with asylum seekers in accordance with international norms. Further, it supports the legal awareness of citizens and influences legislative and executive bodies in the interest of upholding human and civil rights.

NADACE PRO ROZVOJ OBCANSKE SPOLECNOSTI (NROS): The Civil Society Development Foundation (NROS) was established in April 1993. The foundation's function is to support the development of the non-profit sector in the Czech Republic. The foundation administers the resources of Phare EU and provides grants to non-profit, non-governmental organizations for projects beneficial to the public.
